Teatro ZinZanni has announced its Grand Re-Opening with a brand-new show starring veteran performer, Frank Ferrante. On October 2nd at 4:OOPM PT, the 130th anniversary of comic legend Groucho Marx's birth will be marked on Facebook Live by host actor/director Frank Ferrante featuring phone-in interviews with an array of Groucho's family members, friends and experts. Entertainers Frank Ferrante  (An Evening With Groucho) and Matt Roper (I'll Say She Is: The Lost Marx Brothers Musical)  number among the cast of Lakeshore Records release today of the studio album, a companion to the recently released graphic novel Giraffes on Horseback Salad.  Written by pop culture historian Josh Frank (Fool the World: An Oral History of The Pixies), the vividly illustrated book is based on a screenplay written in 1937 by famed Surrealist Salvador Dali as a potential movie for the Marx Brothers.

For one night only, Frank Ferrante will perform his acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in An Evening With Groucho. The performance that Variety called "a Tour de Force" will happen on the Walnut Mainstage on Monday, February 25. Ferrante also directed and is now performing in Ken Ludwig's A COMEDY OF TENORS at the Walnut, on stage now through March 3.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 210th season with the uproarious Ken Ludwig's A COMEDY OF TENORS. Directed by and starring Frank Ferrante, this over-top-top comedy from Tony Winner Ken Ludwig begins previews on January 15th, opens on January 23rd, and runs through March 3rd on the Walnut's Mainstage.
