Today (3 Jan), Darren Day took to the stage with fellow co-stars Meera Syal (Magical Mermaid), Matt Slack (Smee) and Jaymi Hensley (Peter Pan) as he takes over the role of Captain Hook in Birmingham Hippodrome's pantomime adventure, Peter Pan.

Jimmy Osmond had just finished a performance of Peter Pan at the Birmingham Hippodrome last week, when he was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a stroke, according to The Guardian.
