After a thrilling and successful solo debut in London's West End and additional concerts through the UK, Danielle Hope made her sold-out 54 Below debut this past winter. Now she's back on June 12 (9:30PM) for another revelatory evening of song, to celebrate the release of her new Live at 54 Below album! The evening will feature a celebration of music including performances of songs from shows that have shaped her career so far, West End favorites and some very special new material - and, some very special Broadway guests.

One of the greatest musicals of all time, The Sound of Music, returns to the stage in a magnificent new production, which opened at New Wimbledon Theatre on Monday 30 March and will run until Saturday 11 April. West End stars Emma Williams, Eva Noblezada, Daniel Boys and Anton Zetterholm are to perform in a concert of the music and lyrics of award-winning US composer Ryan Scott Oliver at the St James Studio tonight 23rd March. RSO in London will feature music from Oliver's shows including Jasper in Deadland, We Foxes, Mrs Sharp and 35MM: A Musical Exhibition and the composer has traveled to London to host the concert.

Acclaimed writing team George Stiles and Anthony Drewe are to host a concert featuring emerging musical theatre writers at the St James Studio on 19th April. The event will provide a development and showcase opportunity for a selection of new writers and writing teams.

Based on Baroness Maria von Trapp's 1949 autobiography, this wonderfully lavish new staging of The Sound of Music tells the true story of the world-famous singing family, from their romantic beginnings and search for happiness, to their thrilling escape to freedom as their beloved Austria becomes part of the Third Reich at the start of WWII.

The evening will feature a celebration of music including performances of songs from shows that have shaped her career so far, West End favorites and some very special new material - and, some very special Broadway guests. Today in 1903, The Wizard of Oz opened at the Majestic Theatre, where it ran for 293 performances. Based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, which was originally published in 1900, much of the original music was by Paul Tietjens and has been mostly forgotten, although it was still well-remembered and in discussion at MGM in the late 1930s, when the classic film version of the story was made. The main plot of the show, as recounted in newspapers of the time, is Pastoria's attempts to regain the throne from the Wizard of Oz. The original protagonists' search for the Wizard puts them on the wrong side of the law. Since then, many new incarnations have been created, including the 1939 film, and the 2011 West End musical.
