Chester Theatre Company and WAM Theatre are pleased to announce they will be partnering for a free reading of Lauren Gunderson's smart, sly play The Revolutionists, directed by WAM Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven. The reading will take place Thursday, July 28 at 2 p.m. in the intimate setting of Chester's Historic Town Hall, 15 Middlefield Road in Chester, MA. There will be a talkback following the reading.

My Jane, a contemporary exploration of Charlotte Bronte?'s sweeping novel Jane Eyre, opens June 29th and plays through July 10, 2016, at Chester's historic Town Hall, 15 Middlefield Road in Chester, MA. Camila Cano?-Flavia? will be making her professional debut in the title role of Jane.

Chester Theatre Company will bring its 26th season to a close with the New England Premiere of BLINK by British playwright Phil Porter. Not only will this production be a regional premiere, but it features the play's first American cast - the Off Broadway production featured the original British cast. Performances will run from August 13th to 23rd.

Chester Theatre Company will have a new Producing Artistic Director starting in September of 2015. After almost two decades, incumbent Artistic Director Byam Stevens will step down to pursue other projects. Daniel Elihu Kramer, who has served as CTC's Associate Artistic Director since 2012, will take on the artistic leadership for CTC's 2016 season, the company's 27th year of producing professional summer theatre in Western Massachusetts.
