Los Angeles Philharmonic Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel and David C. Bohnett Chief Executive Officer Chair Chad Smith today announced the adventurous slate of programs for the 2022/23 season at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The Broad Stage presents an evening with The Takács Quartet, winners of the Grammy Award, Gramophone Classical Music Awards 2021, Chamber category, and Presto Music Classical Recording Award 2021, make their Broad Stage debut on Saturday, March 19 at 7:30PM on the Main Stage.  

BroadwayWorld caught up with Haley Bennett, who plays Roxanne in the new film adaption of Erica Schmidt's Cyrano musical to discuss her journey with the character from stage to screen, why the story of Cyrano continues to resonate with people, and more.

Directed by Joe Wright, the film is adapted from the stage musical by Erica Schmidt, from “Cyrano de Bergerac” by Edmond Rostand, with music by Aaron & Bryce Dessner and lyrics by Matt Berninger & Carin Besser. The film is the latest to postpone its release due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases due to the omicron variant. The film is still scheduled for a limited January 28 in the United States with a wider release following. With music by Aaron and Bryce Dressner of The National, the film stars Peter Dinklage, Kelvin Harrison, Jr, and Haley Bennett.
