The Off Broadway Alliance, an organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing professionals, has announced the winners for the 8th annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards, honoring commercial and not-for-profit productions that opened Off Broadway during the 2017-2018 season.

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival's 27th summer season will launch with the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime and will feature three Shakespeare plays: the popular comedy Twelfth Night, the profound and lyrical history play King Richard II, and an actor-driven production of the spirited and bittersweet comedy All's Well That Ends Well. As the Festival continues its ambitious progression through the canon, King Richard II will be the 30th of Shakespeare's 38 plays PSF has produced. Rounding out the season will be the stage adaptation of the spectacular Shakespeare in Love, the most produced play in the nation this year following its run in London's West End.

Award-winning and sector-leading London based theater company Frantic Assembly (Movement Direction, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) visits NYC's HB Studio this Fall to teach a Physical Theater Masterclass. Frantic Assembly's widely studied method of devising theater from a physical starting point has been impacting theatrical practice for up to 24 years. The workshop, now enrolling, is scheduled for October 22, 2017.
