The York Theatre Company as part of its Developmental Reading Series, in association with Que Sera Sera Productions, will present a private industry reading of the new musical Come the Darkness, with book, music, and lyrics by Don Nolan at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's. Admission to the Friday, March 13 reading of Come the Darkness is by invitation only.

The seventh annual Justice Film Festival returns to the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, Loreto Theater, Wednesday, November 13 through Saturday, November 16, 2019. The Justice Film Festival inspires justice seekers by showcasing films of exceptional courage and stories of redemption that are as diverse in the issues they explore as they are in geography. As always, this year's event will include feature documentaries and shorts from both well-known and emerging filmmakers, all of whom are using the medium of film to shine a light on culturally relevant social justice issues. Performances of The Golden Girls Musical Parody: PRIDE Edition begin Wednesday, June 19 at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue) for a three-week engagement through July 6. Hailed 'hilariously outsized' by The New York Times, the musical comedy - updated with new story elements for PRIDE and featuring an original pop score - is written and directed by Nick Brennan with music, lyrics and movement also by Mr. Brennan.

Rehearsals for Hayes Theatre Co's production of the new musical RAZORHURST start next week. Set in Sydney's Darlinghurst, this exciting new musical, with book and lyrics by Kate Mulley and music by Andy Peterson, will have its Australian premiere from 14 June. Neurogate Entertainment, LLC (Nolan Doran and Nick Corley, producers) and Van Horn Group, today announced the return of The Golden Girls Musical Parody: PRIDE Edition to be performed at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue) from June 19-July 6, for three weeks only.

The Cutting Room (44 E 32nd St) will play host to Shaken Not Stirred, an immersive cabaret for James Bond fans, secret agents and anyone looking for a good time.  The show will take place on April 11th, April 25th, May 9th and May 23rd starting at 9:30pm. 

Endless life and death scenarios, surging stress-levels, super-charged power dynamics and noble heroes in pristine white coats: we could fill waiting rooms with all the reasons why medicine is one of the most reliable modern storytelling backdrops. Take General Hospital, House, Grey's Anatomy, and more recently, New Amsterdam and The Good Doctor as evidence. It's surprising that a show like Medicine the Musical, written by Michael Ehrenreich and directed by Joey Murray, hasn't already claimed the gaping hospital-shaped space waiting on the Broadway stage (and no, that one musical episode of Scrubs doesn't count). But despite impressive performances from its cast, band, and production team at HERE Arts Center, this rock musical will need some serious re-writing if it hopes to fill it.

Entertainment industry professionals are invited to attend a private industry presentation of Bran Castle, a new musical by Donald Nolan, on Thursday, June 21 at 11AM at Ford Studio at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street, between Dyer & 10th Avenues). Bran Castle is directed by Rachel Klein (Red Rose, Green Gold off-Broadway) and features musical direction by Andy Peterson (Atomic off-Broadway).
