Producer Jeffrey Seller, Shea's Performing Arts Center, and Albert Nocciolino announced today that tickets for HAMILTON will be available online through Ticketmaster Verified Fan, on Friday, October 5 at 8:00 AM ET. Verified Fan is a new fan-facing technology from Ticketmaster that allows pre-registered fans to unlock access to tickets without competing against scalpers and bots.

Shea's Performing Arts Center announced today that tickets for Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will go on sale to the public on Thursday, July 19. The acclaimed Broadway revival of Mark Medoff's Children of a Lesser God plays its final performance at Studio 54 tonight, Sunday, May 27, 2018.

Mean Girls will launch a National Tour in the Fall of 2019 beginning at Shea's Buffalo Theatre. The show will also tech and rehearse at Shea's in the weeks preceding public performances. Mean Girls features a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey, based on her screenplay for the film, music by three-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Richmond; and lyrics by two-time Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin. Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.

Producer Hal Luftig announced today that co-producer Nyle DiMarco will host a talkback for the audience at Children of a Lesser God today, May 15, following the 7:00pm show. DiMarco will join the cast immediately following the performance for a moderated discussion and an opportunity for audience members to ask questions. The talkback will happen on stage and is open to any ticketholder for that evening's performance.

RBTL's Auditorium Theatre announced today that a limited number of orchestra level seats will be available via lottery for $23* for every performance of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical. Two hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the box office may place their names in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, winning names will be drawn for the chance to purchase up to two lottery tickets for just $23 each. Today, Children of a Lesser God announced its student rush policy as the Tony Award-winning play begins performances tonight at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street) ahead of a Wednesday, April 11 official opening night.

The Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL) arts education programs hosted over 1,000 students in grades 3-12, during the run of the national touring production of ON YOUR FEET! last week.  ON YOUR FEET! was presented by RBTL and Albert Nocciolino as part of the 2017-2018 M&T Bank Broadway Season at RBTL's Auditorium Theatre.  These students studied the themes of ON YOUR FEET! and how they relate to everyday life, prior to attending a performance of the show at RBTL's Auditorium Theatre.
