Previews have begun for BETWEEN GODS AND KINGS: A New Rock Show based on Euripides' classic greek tragedy, The Bacchae. The immersive and energetic production began its weekly party-like run at BEDLAM BAR (40 Avenue C) in the East Village last night. It will play every Thursday at 10pm until May 9. Guerilla theater is back in the East Village with BETWEEN GODS AND KINGS: A New Rock Show based on Euripides' classic greek tragedy, The Bacchae. Previews begin next Thursday, March 21 at BEDLAM (40 Avenue C).

The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director Gabriel Stelian-Shanks) has announced casting for DirectorFest 2019: The 35th Annual Directors Festival, the only festival in the United States exploring the art of contemporary stage directing. DirectorFest takes place at various locations around NYC: New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street), The Drama League Theater Center (32 Avenue of the Americas), LaGuardia Performing Arts Center (31-10 Thompson Avenue, Long Island City), and Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street). The Micro-Musical Theatre Show's new production of the micro-musical TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET featuring Earphones Award winner, and audiobook narrator Sarah Naughton, and Golden Key Composition Competition winner Jake Weinstein. TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET  is performed by Sarah Naughton (Book and Lyrics)  and Jake Weinstein (Music and Lyrics). Also performing on the recording Jake Weinstein on piano,  is Will Melones on bass guitar and Tristan Marzeski on drums and drums and percussion.

Oren Korenblum and his dancers from O.K. Dance Company NYC put on their tap shoes and headed onto the cold New York City streets to create this epic dance video. The company is filled with some of the country's best tap dancers who have collectively appeared on Broadway, in several national tours, and in many of the best regional theatres across the U.S.

New York based comedian, actress, and audio-book narrator Sarah Naughton (ABC's The View, Lincoln Center Theater) announces the return of her musical comedy show, Trapped In The Closet, to Feinstein's/54 Below on December 2nd, 2017 at 9:30pm.
