Review: GASLIGHT at Regal Theatre
The term gaslight is likely more well known than its etymology in the 1938 Patrick Hamilton play. Review: WE WILL ROCK YOU at Downtown Cabaret Theatre
On Friday, May 31st, I had the pleasure of seeing the phenomenal musical WE WILL ROCK YOU at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, CT. This is neither a tribute concert to Queen nor a biography of their lives. Playwright Ben Elton, however, has written a storyline that digs much deeper. Director Andrea Pane, with Assistant Director Carly Jurman, Musical Director Mark Ceppetelli, and Choreographer Olivia Rivera bring out the best in this first-rate cast!
Review: Alliance Theatre Present's The Hit World Premiere of THE PREACHER'S WIFE
Every detail of design and it's execution is the epitome of Broadway bold and gold. The Alliance's fly space seems to have reached a new level and the lights pour like honey onto every soloist descending the into floor. There's a lot to take in and worth teasing out into another intermission and third act with Sunday dinner.
