Winners of the 54th annual Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards were announced on Sunday 10 March 2019 at the Artscape Opera House in Cape Town.

Entries are open for the 2018 SCrIBE Scriptwriting Competition. Now in its seventh year, the competition, which is run by the Imbewu Trust, was recently awarded the Fleur du Cap Theatre Award for Innovation in Theatre for its endeavor to develop South Africa's contemporary theatre through the SCrIBE competition.

The top three finalists of the 2017 SCrIBE Scriptwriting Competition have been announced. Produced by the Imbewu Trust and now celebrating its sixth year, SCrIBE is a national competition which provides the opportunity for playwrights to develop their work, with various prizes to be won.
