At its Annual Meeting on June 15, 2020, Trinity Repertory Company's Board of Trustees elected new officers and three new trustees for terms beginning July 1. Succeeding Suzanne Magaziner, who served as Chair of the Board since 2014, Louis Giancola, the retired President and CEO of South County Health, was elected to a three-year term as Chair.

Trinity Repertory Company announced today that four Rhode Island residents will be honored at its 24th annual Pell Awards Gala on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Point 225 in Providence.

At the June 17 Annual Meeting, Trinity Repertory Company's Board of Trustees elected seven new trustees to three-year terms: Judhajit De, Sergio M. Gonzalez, Sean Holley, James Hurley, Lawrence J. La Sala, Sara Shea McConnell, and Julia Ann Slom. Reelected for another term were: Jonathan Duffy, Brian McGuirk, Kibbe Reilly, Kathryn Sabatini, and Arthur Solomon.

The executive committee of Trinity Rep's Board of Trustees, under the leadership of Board Chair Suzanne Magaziner, announces the renewal and extension of Executive Director Tom Parrish's contract through the 2022-23 Season.

?At the 20th annual Pell Awards, Trinity Repertory Company will honor local artists Len Cabral and Charlene Carpenzano with Rhode Island Pell Awards for Excellence in the Arts alongside previously announced honorees The Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis, Laurie Eustis and Elizabeth Chace. The awards ceremony and celebration will be held at Ochre Court on the Salve Regina University Campus in Newport, RI on May 23, 2016. Following a national search, Trinity Repertory Company, the State Theater of Rhode Island, has named the highly accomplished Tom Parrish as Executive Director. Parrish takes over from Michael Gennaro who left in February to take a similar position at renowned Goodspeed Musicals. Parrish will begin his role full-time in Providence in late fall.

Trinity Rep's 2014 Pell Awards honored former Trinity Rep artistic director and Academy-award nominated film, stage and TV actor Richard Jenkins and his wife Director/Choreographer Sharon Jenkins with the 2014 Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts, Jeffrey Osborne with the 2014 New England Pell Award and nationally known dance educator and choreographer Mary Paula Hunter with the 2014 Charles Sullivan Award for Distinguished Service in the Arts. The 18th annual Pell Awards event was held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Trinity Rep followed by a reception at the Providence Public Library.

Trinity Repertory Company has announced that they have received a $50,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to the theater and its programming. Through this award, Bank of America is recognizing the economic impact Trinity Rep's performances and educational programs have on the region. The grant is part of a national multi-million dollar investment by Bank of America to create economically vibrant communities that are better places in which to live and do business.

Trinity Repertory Company has announced that it has received a $250,000 gift from former Nortek CEO and arts enthusiast Richard L. Bready to support its Theater for Every Generation Campaign. In celebration of this generous commitment, Trinity Rep's artistic director position, held by Curt Columbus, will be named "The Richard L. Bready Artistic Director" through June 2015.
