7th Annual Women In Theatre Festival to Return Virtually
Project Y Theatre Company commissioned 5 female playwrights to write 'Hybrid 2-Handers' as the centerpiece of this year's hybrid Women in Theatre Festival, a festival of new work written and created by women, originally conceived to be written for and performed to an in-person and streaming audience simultaneously.

'True men are feminists' is the mantra that concludes this journey.

The Civilians will present the digital premiere of Black Feminist Video Game by Darrel Alejandro Holnes. Black Feminist Video Game follows close on the heels of The Civilians’ smash hit Russian Troll Farm, which was heralded by The New York Times as one of the best shows of 2020.

After welcoming their first Guest Artist in last month's Season 3 debut, the company is excited to welcome TWO Guest Artists for 'Sharing Space.' Starr Kirkland will play Astronaut Starr, and Priscilla Villanueva will stage manage the production. They'll be joined by the show's writer Jessica Giannone as Astronaut Mae and founding artist Mackenzie Sherburne as Astronaut Sally Sloth.
Lady Shakes Theatre Company Presents TWELFTH NIGHT
Lady Shakes Theatre Company is back with the second show in their exciting inaugural season! The play will run Nov 12 through Nov 23, 2019 at 155 Milton Street (Brooklyn) Nov 12 - Nov 16 and 81 Christopher Street (Manhattan) Nov 20 - Nov 23. All performances will begin at 8 PM. Lily Houghton's OF THE WOMAN... Extends Through October 26th
Due to popular demand Normal Ave and Leigh Honigman will extend performances for their World Premiere of Of the Woman Came the Beginning of Sin and Through Her We All Die, written by Lily Houghton and directed by Kylie M. Brown at Normal Ave's Medicine Show Theatre (549 W 52nd St, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10019). Additional performances will be on Thursday, October 24 at 8pm, Friday, October 25 at 8pm, and Saturday, October 26 at 8pm. Previously announced performances will be on Thursday, October 17 at 8pm, Friday, October 18 at 8pm, Saturday, October 19 at 8pm, and Sunday, October 20 at 3pm. Tickets ($20-$30) are available for advance purchase at www.normalave.org/ofthewoman. The performance runs approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.
