The next show at the Mark Taper Forum, Rajiv Joseph’s King James world premieres June 8, 2022 (with previews starting June 1st). Kenny Leon directs this co-production of Center Theatre Group and Steppenwolf Theatre Company starring Glenn Davis and Chris Perfetti. Glenn took some time to answer a few of my queries on King James, being co-artistic director at Steppenwolf Theatre and working with a one-of-a-kind co-star.

Following the week-long virtual experience, tonight the NAACP celebrated the stellar achievements of the 52nd NAACP Image Awards winners during a special LIVE broadcast on BET and simulcast across ViacomCBS networks including CBS for its first time, as well as BET Her, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Paramount, Pop, Smithsonian, TV Land, VH1, BET PLUTO, and CMT.
BWW Review: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, Bridge Theatre
Copies of C. S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe have decorated children's bookshelves since its publication in 1950, and the image of a solitary gas lamppost amidst a blanket of white snow has become iconic. Following a successful run at the Leeds Playhouse in 2017, Sally Cookson's adaptation of Lewis's novel is now at the Bridge Theatre, and proves a perfect tonic to the theatrical soul, with impeccable design and innovative scenic effects.

Based on the novel by C. S. Lewis and directed by Sally Cookson, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will have its first performance at the Bridge Theatre on 9 November 2019. Today (16 October 2019) rehearsal images are released on the 69th anniversary of the publication of the novel. Opening night is on 18 November and the production runs until 2 February 2020. Stand-up comedy - the cornerstone of the Comedy Central foundation - is FRONT AND CENTER to kick off the new year! January 2019 is Stand-Up Month on Comedy Central, featuring four all-new stand-up specials from comedic heavyweights Ron Funches (@midnight, The Half Hour), James Davis (Hood Adjacent with James Davis), Chris Distefano (Stupid Questions with Chris Distefano, The Half Hour) and Roy Wood Jr. (The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Roy Wood Jr.: Father Figure), airing consecutive Fridays throughout the month at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
