Celebrate 25 years of Joe's Pub at their annual gala. The event also raises funds for artist development programs, supporting the future of Broadway.

This September, Joe's Pub at The Public kicks off its 20th Anniversary year, celebrating two decades of presenting the best in live music and performance nightly with a commitment to diversity, production values, community, and artistic freedom. The fall season is comprised of Joe's Pub debuts like Max Vernon and The Tiger Lillies; familiar faces like Justin Vivian Bond, John Kelly, and Shaina Taub; and two New York Voices commissions: Refrigerated Dreams, a collaboration from Nona Hendryx and Carrie Mae Weems, and Murray Hill's About To Break, directed by Scott Wittman. There will also be a change in leadership at Joe's Pub - Alex Knowlton will become Director of Joe's Pub, as Shanta Thake will inaugurate a new role at The Public Theater as Senior Director of Artistic Programs.

Fashion and nightclub icons turned out in force to celebrate the opening of their friend and colleague, Paul Alexander, and his new musical TRINKETS playing now at Gene Frankel Theater. Performances are on Aug 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12  & 16. Bodega Negra, an offshoot of the popular London import known for its menu of upscale Mexican fare, opens today at Dream Downtown. TAO/Strategic Group worked alongside nightlife legend Serge Becker and his partners, celebrated UK restaurant operator Will Ricker and entrepreneur Ed Spencer Churchill, to bring this concept across the pond.

The Cools, a social shopping site known for its offline Jamboree events, will hold a Cyber Monday Jamboree on November 26 at the Dream Downtown in New York City. The event will serve to debut 26 exclusive holiday collaboration products which will be available on the site over the coming weeks leading up to the holiday season. The 26 product installations will be celebrated with a concert by American rapper and a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, Raekwon.

This fall The Public Theater will unveil its revitalized downtown home as the Company celebrates a milestone year that also includes the 50th anniversary of the Delacorte Theater, home to Shakespeare in the Park. The revitalization will transform the lobby into a piazza where audiences, artists, and the public will engage with one another. A central element of the project is the addition of The Library at The Public Theater, a new lounge serving food and drinks on the lobby's expanded mezzanine level. The Library at The Public Theater is named in honor of the landmark building's original use as the Astor Library, New York City's first public library.

It will officially reopen on October 1, 2011 with the same dedication to diverse programming, affordable ticket prices, full bar and dinner service, and an improved seating and stage design.
