Kristen Coury, CEO and Producing Artistic Director of Gulfshore Playhouse, has announced their complete 2023-2024 season. Due to construction delays caused by Hurricane Ian, the new The Baker Theatre and Education Center will open in 2024. As such, Gulfshore Playhouse will produce the 2023-2024 season in the Norris Center.

The Bakers, who kicked off the Next Stage Capital Campaign with the first match gift, now have pledged up to $20 million for the new Cultural Campus.

 Kristen Coury, Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Gulfshore Playhouse, has been selected to participate in the Leadership Collier Class of 2020. Established by The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, the program was designed to educate local business leaders about the societal and economic challenges facing the community today.

With deep appreciation for his years of leadership, Gulfshore Playhouse, Naples' premier professional regional theater, announced today that longtime Board Chairman Bob Harden will be transitioning to a role as Board Member Emeritus. He will continue to serve in a voluntary capacity on both the development committee and the Capital Campaign Committee for the Playhouse. Following a record-breaking World Premiere at Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, Fla., the hit play Scapino is headed to New York for the show's first commercial reading on Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at The Davenport Theater located at 354 W. 45th Street.

Over a decade has passed since Kristen Coury first stepped foot in Naples after a career working on Broadway for Walt Disney Theatrical Productions and Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Really Useful Group as well as directing a feature film.

As its first production of the new year, Gulfshore Playhouse presents Arthur Miller's The Price. Starring Jeffrey Binder (Broadway's Lion King and Mary Poppins ), David Whalen (star of motion pictures Fault in our Stars and American Pastoral ), Stuart Zagnit (Broadway's Newsies, Wicked, and Seussical ), and Marilee Talkington (off-Broadway's Truce) and directed by Kristen Coury, Gulfshore Playhouse's founder and producing artistic director, The Price will run from Saturday, Jan. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 4.

In the wake of Hurricane Irma, Gulfshore Playhouse has announced the cancellation of its first show of the season, Paradise, a revised schedule and an offer for reduced tickets to thank the community for their support.
