Depending on how snobby you are about the belief that no American play can truly be said to have premiered until it has opened in New York, Paradise Blue, the ravishing new jazz noir drama by Dominique Morisseau is either the second or third installment in the playwright's trilogy set in her hometown of Detroit.

David Henry Hwang's Kung Fu, starring Cole Horbie and Phoebe Strole, opened last night, February 24, 2014 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center. The production will run through March 30. BroadwayWorld was there for opening night and you can check out photos below!

August in April, A Tribute to August Wilson's Life and Legacy, presented by Brooklyn College in collaboration with Arizona State University, will run from April 27 through April 29 at the Harry DeJur Playhouse
