Training: Richard comes from South Wales. He trained at Mountview Theatre School.

Theatre includes: Mickey in Blood Brothers (West End). He is an associate artist of Wales Theatre Company, appearing as Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Luke O’Neil in The Thorn Birds musical (world premiere), Florindo in Servant of Two Masters, Evan Roberts in Amazing Grace and Tony in West Side Story. Also, understudy Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar (UK tour), Backwoodsman in Show Boat (Royal Albert Hall), Hair (Oslo Spectrum), Macbeth in Macbeth (S4K international tour), Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (UK tour), Ferdinand in The Tempest (UK tour) and A Tribute to Dirty Dancing (open air concert).

Other work includes: artistic director and soloist on the 12 Tenors international tour and he is the co-creator of The 3 Swing Tenors.

Bill Kenwright's legendary, award-winning production of the international smash hit musical, BLOOD BROTHERS returns to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre this autumn. The much-loved musical, performed to sell-out houses on its recent UK tour and returns with gusto from 13 – 17 September 2022.
