North Carolina Theatre, the region's premier nonprofit professional theatre, has announced casting for its February production of Kinky Boots, playing February 11-16, 2020 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh. Eric Woodall is NC Theatre's producing artistic director, and Broadway performer Nathan Peck will direct and choreograph the production.

Mamma Mia! 'Here we go again.' There is now another production in Central New York of this hit jukebox musical based on the songs of ABBA. This time around it is a delightful production at the picturesque Cortland Repertory Theatre in Preble, New York. A Little Princess stars Broadway actress, Madison Elizabeth Lagares, in the leading role of Sarah Crewe. Lagares made her Broadway debut playing Young Gloria in On Your Feet.

Producers Right Angle Entertainment announced an extended run for the hit Off-Broadway musical, The Office! A Musical Parody, now playing to sold-out audiences at The Jerry Orbach Theatre (1627 Broadway) in the heart of Times Square. The cast of The Office! A Musical Parody had a welcome visitor recently when Kim M. Ferry stopped backstage to offer up some of her insider knowledge of the iconic television show. Ferry worked as the Hair Department Head for 'The Office' for all nine seasons at NBC. She took over the hair chair and spent time shaping, braiding and combing the locks of Michael Santora (Dwight), Katie Johantgen (Angela Martin), Taylor Coriell (Pam Beesly) and Ani Djidjiran (Kelly Kapoor).
