Pasadena Playhouse Announces Winter/Spring Community And Learning Programming
Pasadena Playhouse, State Theatre of California, welcomes the community to its campus with a wide variety of programming and activities this winter and spring. In addition to the season productions of Ragtime: The Musical (February 5-March 3) and Tiny Beautiful Things (dates to be announced), the community and learning programs are designed to enrich the experience of theater for children, new and existing patrons, lifelong learners, theater professionals, community members, and more.

Pasadena Playhouse is announcing Community@Play, a new free ticket initiative allowing thousands of area students and residents to enjoy the transformative power of live theatrical performances at the Playhouse. This initiative is sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, an active supporter of the Pasadena Playhouse for more than 19 years.
Pasadena Playhouse Launches Theatre Initiative for Latino Community MI HISTORIA, MI MANERA
The Pasadena Playhouse (Artistic Director Sheldon Epps, and Executive Director Elizabeth Doran) embarks on a new initiative titled Mi Historia, Mi Manera, which aims to build a model of artistic co-creation between its institution and Latina/o adults, artists, and communities in the San Gabriel Valley. Mi Historia, Mi Manera is supported by a generous grant from the James Irvine Foundation, and is an extension of The Playhouse's long standing Wells Fargo Theatrical Diversity Project, founded in 2005 by Artistic Director, Sheldon Epps. The Diversity Project is dedicated to promoting culturally diverse programming at The Pasadena Playhouse through the active engagement of artists, staff, volunteers and audiences of all ages, genders, orientations and ethnicities in exploring and celebrating the wealth of creativity in our world today.
