The Gateway's Annual Fundraiser, SHAKE THE SHORE, will take place at The Gateway in Bellport on July 29 at 6 PM. The evening will honor Bellport's Diane Giattino and will feature a performance by The Gateway Alum, Nick Sanchez of Broadway's Hamilton, as well as, a special appearance by two-time Olympic Medalist, Nancy Kerrigan – star of The Gateway's Holiday Spectacular on Ice.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30p.m. on Feb. 6-9 and 13-16; 2:00 p.m. matinee performances will be presented on Feb. 8-9 and 15-16.

Andrea McArdle, whose successful musical theater career includes playing sleazy Sally Bowles in a?oeCabareta?? and sleazier prostitute in a?oeOliver,a?? will return to TheatreZone's stage in February in a tour de force dual role as the mothers of both Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan for the Florida premiere of Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera.

New funk/rock outfit The Ninth recently shared their album Olympic Dream/Nightmare. A musical explosion combines rock & roll, funk and soul as it scoops listeners up for a unique dive into the story of one of the world's biggest sports scandals: the 1994 skating controversy between Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding. It was a dramatic, immersive case that mesmerized the world at the time, and The Ninth bring it all back to life - 25 years later - in their theatrical inspired release.

Actor-singer-dancer-choreographer Adam Fleming became a part of Broadway history originating the roles of Sketch in Hairspray and Lucas in Bare. In 2005, he starred in David Brind and Adam Salky's acclaimed short film, Dare, about two teenage boys' tense, spark-filled encounter in a pool following high school play practice. Dare gained a cult following as part of Strand Releasing's 'Boys Life' series and ultimately achieved worldwide popularity via more than 12 Million views on Youtube. The fan fervor (and fan fiction!) eventually inspired a sequel, ten years later. The original and the sequel are now being presented together as The Dare Project and attracting new legions of fans.

A developmental lab is being held next week for a new musical titled SuperYou.

Raue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome Dave Coulier back to the stage this summer! The hilarious stand-up comedian best known as Joey from ABC's television series, "Full House" returns to Raue Center at 8 p.m. on August 17, 2019.

Abingdon Theatre Company, in association with Paul Boghosian and Jim Kierstead, Executive Producer, will present a special one-night only concert of Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera, a darkly comedic original musical done with a great deal of heart, with libretto and concept by Elizabeth Searle and music by Michael Teoli, on Monday evening, February 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street).
