She assistant-directed for Tina Howe at the 24 HOUR PLAYS ON BROADWAY and directed the award-winning comedy LARRY GETS THE CALL by Matt Casarino (The 15-Minute Play Festival), which went on to be featured at DaDaFest International in Liverpool, where she also directed other original works, including SCREW YOU, JIMMY CHOO!, her production of which originally premiered at the Gasworks Arts Park in Melbourne, Australia, then at the Kennedy Center.

She produced A CELEBRATION OF WOMEN IN THEATRE: MISS REPRESENTATION, a rousing and thought-provoking evening of film, theatre, photography and discussion at The Players; and she is a co-producer and director with On Her Shoulders (onhershoulders.weebly.com), which works to reveal, from centuries past, the great tradition and contribution of female playwrights to the theatrical canon.

She has evaluated scripts for the Atlantic Theater Company, New York Theatre Workshop and FringeNYC, and she holds both a BA in Dramatic Art and Film Studies from UC Santa Barbara and an MFA in Directing from the Actors Studio Drama School. She is the Associate Artistic Director and a resident director at Emerging Artists Theatre, a member of The Actors Studio Playwright/Director Workshop and the League of Professional Theatre Women and an Associate Member of the SDC.
