Williamstown Theatre Festival celebrates tonight's first performance of ALIEN/NATION, the world premiere immersive theatrical experience in two parts from The Forest of Arden, written and devised by Eric Berryman, Jen Silverman, and the company of The Forest of Arden.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced additional casting and members of the creative teams for all three of their 2021 Live Season productions, which begins July 6 and will take place outdoors, socially distanced, and with safety prioritized.

Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) is beginning 2020 with an onstage adaptation of the beloved classic novel a?oeAnne of Green Gablesa?? by L.M. Montgomery. The stage play by the same name is reimagined by playwright R. N. Sandberg, and follows the story of young orphan Anne Shirley and the place in which she accidentally finds family, friends, and home. Anne of Green Gables opens to the public this Saturday, February 1 and runs through February 23 with performances on Saturdays and Sundays. Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) opened Miracle In Bedford Falls to the public last weekend, delighting family audiences and welcoming in the holiday season. The musical based on the Frank Capra film a?oeIt's A Wonderful Lifea?? is written by Mark Cabaniss with music and lyrics by Lowell Alexander. This production runs through December 29, and is funded in part by Orange County Government through the Arts & Cultural Affairs Program with Directing Sponsorship from Frank Santos and Dan Dantin.

42nd Street Touring Company 'Dares To Dance' To Raise Awareness

This week, Dallas became the stage for a tragic sniper attack as Dallas police officers were gunned down while supporting a local peaceful protest. Just a few miles down the road, the touring company of 42ND STREET was onstage at the Music Hall at Fair Park, where they are just concluding their two-week visit before performing a one-week run at Fort Worth's Bass Performance Hall. As a response to the Dallas attack, as well as the other high-profile shootings over the last month, the cast decided to give something back to the community who has been coming out in full force to support them.

Next week, the national touring cast of 42nd STREET arrives at Dallas Summer Musicals, featuring a cast of 38 accomplished actors, singers and tap dancers. Although many of the touring gypsies currently consider New York City their home base, four of them were raised locally in the Lone Star State, and cannot wait to put on their dancing shoes back home next week. While on a one-week lay off from the tour this week, I caught up with Texas's own Caitin Ehlinger, Matthew J. Taylor, Mandy Modic and Sarah Fagan. The show runs in Dallas from June 28th to July 10th, and at Forth Worth's Bass Hall July 12th-17th.

The national tour of 42nd Street just wrapped up a 3-week run at Hollywood's historic Pantages Theatre.  The cast shows off their dance moves in this ode to JT's "Can't Stop the Feeling" and celebration of summertime!

This high-octane tour will then head to Fort Worth, where it will play at Bass Performance Hall July 12-17, presented by Performing Arts Fort Worth. 42nd STREET will be directed by co-author Mark Bramble and choreographed by Randy Skinner, the team who staged the 2001 Tony Award winning Best Revival.
