MARY STEWART-DAVID trained at Rada and Central, and holds an MA in Directing from London University an an MA in Screenwriting and Production from Westminster.. Awards include two Radio Times Comedy Awards for scriptwriting and the Ryman Literary Prize for lyric-writing. West End credits include lyrics for Stepping Out - The Musical, resident director for Ziegfeld and casting director for Me And My Girl. Off West End/Broadway credits include book and lyrics for Baby On Board directed by Alan Ayckbourn, and Afterwards directed by Chris Walker at Playwrights Horizon. Recent directing credits include Close Quarters at the ATA in New York, and Eighty-1 at the Abingdon Theatre. Screenplays include One Helluva Romance, Die Happy and The Honourable Rebel.
