Brand-new production of The Cher Show starring Debbie Kurup (The Bodyguard, Girl From The North Country), Danielle Steers (Bat Out of Hell, SIX) and Millie O'Connell (SIX, Rent) is arrives at Theatre Royal Brighton for two weeks from Tuesday 1 to Saturday 12 November 2022.

The Cher Show UK and Ireland tour has released all new photos to celebrate the 100th performance which will take place tomorrow, Saturday 13 August, at Milton Keynes Theatre.

THE CHER SHOW's UK and Ireland tour opened this week at Curve Leicester! Cher takes the audience by the hand and introduces them to the influential people in her life, from her mother and Sonny Bono, to Bob Mackie. The Cher Show is getting ready to hit the road! The musical is led by Debbie Kurup, Danielle Steers and Millie O'Connell, with Lucas Rush will play Sonny, Jake Mitchell will play Bob Mackie, Sam Ferriday will play Greg Allman and Tori Scott will play Georgia.

The producers of the brand new production of The Cher Show have announced the full cast joining Debbie Kurup, Danielle Steers and Millie O’Connell, all starring as Cher – Star, Lady and Babe respectively. Lucas Rush will play Sonny, Jake Mitchell will play Bob Mackie, Sam Ferriday will play Greg Allman and Tori Scott will play Georgia. Fresh from star turns in Six, RENT, and Be More Chill, Millie O’Connell now joins the trio of actresses portraying Cher in The Cher Show, which tours the UK from April. With her dramatic graphic eyeliner still fresh from rehearsal earlier that day, we spoke to her about all things Cher, biographical musicals and female empowerment.

The jukebox musical has been doing the rounds since it first appeared in Hollywood in 2005, but this particular version shows that it has not aged well. The paper-thin plot focuses on sweet Southern gal Sherrie arriving in LA's bright lights. Here she meets the sweet and clean-cut Drew at the Bourbon Club. With the threatened demolition of the club as a background, Sheree is drawn into the murky LA underworld where she ends up working in a strip club. After various misunderstandings, the show concludes with a vaguely happy ending; so far, so predictable.

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 winner Kevin Clifton will be swapping the ballroom for the bourbon club this Spring when the award-winning Rock of Ages powers into Coventry.
