Uptown Players has announced the return of its annual fundraiser, Broadway Our Way. This highly anticipated event showcases the remarkable talent and creativity of past Uptown Players' cast members, presenting a weekend of Broadway music with a contemporary twist.

Uptown Players presents its 20th annual fundraiser Broadway Our Way '23. This year's production is written and directed by B.J. Cleveland, choreographed by Jeremy Dumont with music direction by Kevin Gunter and Vonda K Bowling and musical arrangements by Adam C. Wright. Broadway Our Way will run Apriil 20 - 23, at the Kalita Humphreys Theater.

Jim Leonard has published eight plays, including The Diviners, And They Dance Real Slow in Jackson, and Battle Hymn, with his theatrical honors including the Outer Critics Circle Award, an Ovation Award, the Dramatists Guild Award, and an LA Weekly Award for best play.

Uptown Players presents its 19th annual fundraiser Broadway Our Way '22. This year's production is written and directed by B.J. Cleveland, choreographed by Andrew Coopman with music direction by Kevin Gunter and Kelley Poche Rodriguez and musical arrangements by Adam C. Wright. Broadway Our Way will run June 9 - 12, at the Kalita Humphreys Theater. This year's event includes the return of two special guests, Emerson Collins and Black McIver

Cleveland has heard members of the LGBT community claim they had never been represented on stage for many decades and this evening is about fun and providing a previously unheard voice and seeing the world as we always wish it could be.

Theatre Three Artistic Director Jeffrey Schmidt has announced details about its upcoming all-star fundraising performance of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. On Valentine's Day evening, Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m., the long-running Theatre Three production will move upstairs to the Norma Young Arena Stage for a one-night-only performance featuring returning cast members from all eighteen previous productions. When IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU opened on Broadway in April of 2015, it didn't quite get the reception the producers intended, closing just shy of three months later and receiving zero Tony Awards nominations. Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and even the Grinch are coming to town. The Jewish Community Center of Dallas' Performing Arts Program presents the pop musical Seussical Jr. Comprised of two casts with actors ages 6 to 18, the Junior Cast performs Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 3 at 2 and 7 p.m.; the Senior Cast performs Thursday, April 7 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 at 2 and 7 p.m. All performances will take place in The J's Zale Auditorium at 7900 Northaven Road in Dallas. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for children and seniors in advance. Tickets can be purchased online.

WaterTower Theatre presents the world premiere of Donald Fowler's musical CREEP. The musical will open WaterTower Theatre's 2015-2016 Season on Monday, October 5, 2015 (with previews tonight, October 2, Saturday, October 3, and a Gala Preview performance on Sunday, October 4). Kate Galvin, Associate Producer at the 11th Hour Theatre Company in Philadelphia, will direct. CREEP is produced by Terry Martin.
