Last night, May 9, VOCA PEOPLE (www.VocaPeopleNYC.com), the hit musical, welcomed "Police Academy" star and "the man of 10,000 sound effects" Michael Winslow as he joins the VOCA PEOPLE for four select performances through May 20 at New World Stages (340 W. 50th Street). Mr. Winslow will perform with VOCA PEOPLE again May 13 at 5:30pm, May 14 at 8pm, May 16 at 7pm and May 17 at 7pm. Winslow blasts into this out-of-this-world musical, which combines vocal sounds, a-cappella singing, comedy and the art of beat box. See photos of Michael Winslow in VOCA PEOPLE below!

The 27th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards were handed out last night, May 6, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center, in a ceremony that once again benefited the Actors Fund and honored the best of Off Broadway. Dylan's Candy Bar Honors VOCA PEOPLE With 'Voca Vanilla' Ice Cream
The new hit musical comedy, VOCA PEOPLE, currently playing to standing ovations at Westside Theatre, will be honored by Dylan's Candy Bar (1011 Third Avenue at 60th Street) with a new Voca Ice Cream Flavor. 'Voca Vanilla' is Dylan's classic Vanilla Ice Cream which will be renamed and makes its debut Friday, October 7th at 2pm at Dylan's. 'Voca Vanilla' will be unveiled with a performance in the cafe by the white-faced, red-lipped VOCA PEOPLE. This is the first time Dylan's Candy Bar has renamed an ice cream flavor.

On Friday evening, August 19, Voca People became the latest production to inspire a beverage on the restaurants Broadway Cocktail Menu ...'The Voca-tini' (infused vodka, triple sec, white cranberry juice). Emily Petrain. Beverage Director at B. Smith's, unveiled 'The Voca-tini' with the white-faced, red-lipped Voca People and their Consulate General, Christine Paterson, standing by.
