THE FESTIVAL OF TENS at The Laboratory Theater of Florida was a fun celebration of theatre and playwriting composed of a series of seven ten-minute plays.

'Take a Shot' with Buck Creek Players as we open our 42nd season of quality theatre with the comedic thriller CLIFFHANGER by James Yaffe. Opening Friday, September 25th, and continuing for two weekends through Sunday, October 4th, curtain times are 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Sundays. All performances will be held at the Buck Creek Playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Avenue. Admission is $18 for adults and $16 for students and senior citizens (ages 62 and up). 'Glengarry Glen Ross' explodes at the Waterfront Playhouse' says Mark Howell in his rave review in Solares Hill. David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play is wowing audiences and sparking debate at the award-winning Waterfront Playhouse through February 12th. Considered to be one of the theater's masterworks of the late 20th Century, 'Glengarry' has been the recipient of every major theater award available. Directed by George Gugleotti, 'Glengarry' features a powerhouse ensemble of actors. The production is sponsored by AT&T, The Real Yellow Pages. 'Glengarry' carries an audience advisory of 'adult language.'

The Waterfront Playhouse presents David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play 'Glengarry Glen Ross,' considered to be one of the theater's masterworks of the late 20th Century. The New York Times calls the play 'ferocious comedy and drama, crackling with tension.' Directed by George Gugleotti and featuring an ensemble of powerhouse actors, 'Glengarry' runs January 27 to February 12. Denis Hyland ('Rocky Horror Show,' 'Equus,') plays Jack the super smooth proprietor of the Reefer Den, with Mary Falconer ('The Best Man,' 'Urinetown') playing Mae - the long-suffering hostess of the Den. Nulita Loder ('Urinetown,' 'My Way') plays Sally, the seductive Reefer Slut, and Michael Aaglan ('The Best Man') plays Ralph, a former fraternity man who's become a giggling reefer addict. Kristen Wilson ('Urinetown,' 'Bat Boy') plays the Placard Girl who parades lessons to be learned from the dangers of the leafy menace.
