Glee actor Kevin McHale has condemned Discovery+'s new The Price of Glee docu-series, which goes behind the controversies of the hit musical comedy series. McHale tweeted that no cast members were involved and slammed the new series as 'trash.'
During the second half of his interview on the 'And That's What You REALLY Missed' podcast, Murphy stated that since there has 'been enough time' since the series ended, he is now pondering his next step with the brand. Possible options he included were a Broadway musical adaptation or a reboot.
Glee creator Ryan Murphy was the guest on the first episode of the 'And That's You REALLY Missed' podcast, which deep dives into a behind-the-scenes look at the hit musical series. Murphy reveals that the character of Mr. Schue, played by Matthew Morrison, was originally written for Justin Timberlake and had a meth addiction.
The series will pull the curtain back on the good and bad experiences of Glee's cast and crew. The series will also feature testimonies from close friends and family, revealing never-heard-before stories. The docu-series will also have exclusive access to Glee cast and crew members, who will give their personal stories.
