The Tennessee Williams Theatre Company of New Orleans will be presenting the world premiere live production of The Felt Menagerie, a comedy spoofing tropes and characters from the plays of its namesake playwright Tennessee Williams.

Returning to the stage since the pandemic shutdown is one New Orleans theatre company that has been sorely missed. The Tennessee Williams Theatre Company and their current production of FOR WHOM THE SOUTHERN BELLE TOLLS is a comedic romp that will give audiences the best medicine of all.

For its fourth online installment of the 2021 Spring Puppet Forum Series, the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut will host “Puppetry, Game Design, and Digital Performance” with Eddie Kim of EK Theater and UConn Digital Media and Design faculty Samantha Olschan and Kenneth Thompson, on Thursday, April 22 at 7 p.m. ET.

The Tennessee Williams Theatre Company of New Orleans will be producing Suddenly Last Summer, Williams' suspenseful 1958 psychodrama in spring this year. The play will be mounted at Loyola University New Orleans and will be a collaboration with the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival.  

The Toledo Symphony Youth Orchestra, currently in its 63rd year, will perform its first concert Sunday, October 21st at 4PM in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle. This concert will feature the Philharmonic, Symphonic, and Concert Orchestras, under the direction of Ken Thompson, Wasim Hawary, and Robert Mirakian.

Back by popular demand, SOUL DOCTOR: The Shlomo Musical, a theatrical production celebrating the life and music of Shlomo Carlebach, will return to New Orleans for a limited engagement at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre, before heading to Broadway in 2011.
