Alley Theatre's Virtual Stage Presents a Collection of Contemporary Plays for the Spring
The Alley Theatre will present a variety of contemporary plays as a part of the Alley’s Spring 2021 Digital Season. Written by Alley All New alumni and a Houston-based author, the plays include El Chuco Town Forever by Isaac Gómez (April 2 – May 2, 2021), Man. Kind. by Don X. Nguyen (April 9 – May 9, 2021), and more.

The highly anticipated giant of a musical, features a cast of 38 powerhouse actors, glorious lighting and more than a little magic. BWW sat down with some of the cast and crew at the Public Theater to chat about where they got their start and get the inside scoop on what its like being part of such a large-scale production.

Andre DeShields (The Full Monty, The Wiz) and Ken Page (Cats, The Nightmare Before Christmas), who starred in the original AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', the 1978 Tony Award-winning musical that celebrated the music of American composer Fats Waller, have joined the show's 40th-anniversary celebration at Feinstein's/54 Below on Sunday, September 9th at 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm.
