BWW Review: FUSION Plays With Love But Lacks Passion


Adam Parrish's play Fusion is currently running at the Actors Theatre Workshop, bringing the story of one couple's struggle to stay together to the New York stage. While it has some effective elements, Fusion seems to make a caricature of relationships rather than delving deep to explore intimacy between two people.

New Romantic Comedy FUSION Will Make Its World Premiere at The Actors Theatre Workshop


FUSION, a two-person modern love story, will make its world premiere September 27 through October 14, 2018 at the Actors Theatre Workshop (145 West 28th Street, 3F). InViolet Theater Company's SOMMERFUGL Begins Next Month


InViolet Theater Company, under the direction of Founding Co-Artistic Directors Michael Henry Harris and Angela Razzano, In association with Melanie Maras, Bryan Tallevi and Andrea Kiefer have announced the off-off Broadway run of SOMMERFUGL, a new play written by Bixby Elliot inspired by the true story of Lili Elbe, the first person to have gender reassignment surgery in 1930. Fordham University Presents Weekend of Films with CANNED ART Festival


Back for its sixth summer, the Fordham Alumni Company will for the first time host a weekend of film screenings created by Fordham Alumni. The sister program to the company's FRESH ART festival the weekend before, The CANNED Art weekend showcases work Fordham Alumni have finished creating, saved for prosperity in the can. A variety of feature length and short films, documentaries, as well as web-series and sketches will be shown. All screenings will be presented at the Wild Project (195 E. 3rd St., NYC). Admission is $5 per film. In addition, audience members can purchase a $12 “RamPass” to see 3 or more films. To purchase tickets in advance visit www.thewildproject.com.
