Veteran award-winning actor Ron Faber, whose Broadway appearances included “First Monday in October” with Henry Fonda and “Medea” with Irene Papas, died March 26 after a two-month battle with lung cancer. He was 90.

Albert Camus’ The Fall will come to life onstage as Belgian-born actor Ronald Guttman embodies the anguish of exiled Parisian lawyer Jean-Baptiste Clamence. Performances of Albert Camus’ The Fall begin October 13 at The Huron Club at Soho Playhouse, with an opening set for Wednesday, October 19, for a limited run through November 19.

After a new rigorous play submission and selection process, PlayPenn today announced the final six plays and playwrights that will be featured at the nonprofit organization's restructured annual Conference. Legislator Jeanne Vinal was sworn in January 2020, as Erie County Legislator for District 5, which contains about 75 percent of the Town of Amherst and includes Eggertsville, Snyder, the Village of Williamsville, Sweet Home, and parts of Getzville, Willow Ridge, and most of Williamsville outside the village as well.
