BroadwayWorld recently attended a rehearsal of Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre in the West End. The cast and crew are preparing for Stevie Doc and Tobias Turley, the winners of the Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream televised competition, to join the show as Sophie and Sky.

Ahead of its 25th anniversary on 6 April 2024, Stevie Doc and Tobias Turley, the winners of ITV’s MAMMA MIA! I Have a Dream, will join the production of the global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! in the respective roles of Sophie and Sky at London’s Novello Theatre from Monday 29 January 2024. 

METTE and Scottish producer, singer and songwriter Sam Gellaitry have joined forces to release their electrifying new single ‘DARLING DRIVE'. ‘DARLING DRIVE' sees METTE step fully into her funk infused era. Collaborating with Scottish artist Sam Gellaitry, the pair's intertwining vocal harmonies and catchy melodies evoke a dancefloor ready energy.

After eight weeks of singing, dancing, and acting their way to a place in the final, Stevie Doc and Tobias Turley have tonight been crowned the winners of MAMMA MIA! I Have a Dream, securing them a money can't buy prize – the lead roles of Sophie and Sky in the West End production of MAMMA MIA!

Ahead of the live final on Sunday 10 December, a sneak peek of a pre-recorded performance MAMMA MIA! I Have a Dream, has been released. The video includes the four finalists, Esme, Stevie, Tobias and Owen, singing a medley of MAMMA MIA! hits.

This new single follows Le Fil’s recent appearance on Season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and his EP Le Filosophical, that featured his original tracks created each week for the show, a first in the franchise’s history, which included tracks like “East To The West” and “Yin To My Yang,” featured on his recent tours and performances for Drag Race UK.

Model Child is the project of Danny Parker (He/Him/They/Them), a solo artist and pop songwriter who most recently co-wrote Jessie Ware's That! Feels Good! album. You can hear his pop sensibilities in place on his new aquatic-themed earworm, 'Into The Water.'
