FINDING MADAME CURIE To Open CreateTheater's NEW WORKS FESTIVAL


CreateTheater will be presenting 6 performances of Finding Madame Curie, a new musical by David Kurkowski, April 14-23 at Theatre Row's Theater Four, 410 W. 42nd St., NY, NY. Finding Madame Curie will be directed by Staś Kmieć (Fiddler on the Roof) and features Kerry Conte as Madame Curie.

The New York Times describes the show as “100 times better than any bedtime story,” and has been enchanting adults and children alike. “We’re greatly optimistic about the return of Broadway to the city of Atlanta and thrilled to share the news that shows previously announced for the 40th Anniversary season will remain available to patrons under a revised schedule,” said Vice President of Broadway in Atlanta Russ Belin. BWW Review: THE FULL MONTY at Argyle Theatre


Once again, Director and Broadway star Evan Pappas enlisted an energetic ensemble full of grandiose voices and enthusiasm to bring another crowd-pleasing musical to Long Island. This time around it's 'The Full Monty' which first premiered on Broadway in 2000. This Terrence McNally/David Yazbek adaptation of the cult classic motion picture was one of the first movies from the late 90's to be musicalized for the stage and definitely one of the better ones.
