Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical, directed by Aditya Chopra, with book and lyrics by Nell Benjamin, music by Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani, and choreography by Rob Ashford, runs through October 16, 2022 at The Old Globe. The Old Globe, in association with Yash Raj Films, has announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical, which will make its debut in San Diego this fall.

The acclaimed digital recording of Now Or Never will receive a one-night-only anniversary stream to raise money for The Suzie Mackie Fellowship; funding research into Triple Negative breast cancer. 

Production images are released today for the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre’s 2021 pantomime Aladdin, written by Vikki Stone and directed by Abigail Graham, ahead of opening night on 27 November.

Rehearsal images have been released for the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre’s 12th annual panto Aladdin, a magical new adaptation written by award-winning comedian, actor and composer Vikki Stone, directed by Abigail Graham, running at the West London venue from 19 November 2021 to 02 January 2022, with opening night on 27 November.

Ayub Khan Din’s much loved modern classic East is East premiered at the Birmingham Rep back in 1996 before being adapted for the screen a few years later. In celebration of its 25th year the play arrives at the National Theatre for a limited run. Thanks to cleverly considered, often sensitive direction from Iqbal Khan and a strong and cohesive cast, the revival shows little signs of its age and instead feels as fresh, relevant, and engaging as ever.

Qasim Mahmood plays Aladdin in this magical new adaptation by award-winning comedian, actor and composer Vikki Stone who returns to write her debut pantomime for the Lyric following critically acclaimed appearances as Abanazar in Aladdin in 2016 and Fleshcreep in Jack and the Beanstalk in 2017.

The cast will include Amy-Leigh Hickman as Meenah;  Irvine Iqbal as Mr Shah/Dr; Tony Jayawardena as George; Adonis Jenieco as Saleem; Rachel Lumberg as Annie; Noah Manzoor as Sajit; Joeravar Sangha as Maneer; Gurjeet Singh as Tariq; Sophie Stanton as Ella and Assad Zaman as Abdul.

Today, ahead of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre's opening night for the new season, production images are released for Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. Kimberley Sykes directs Shakespeare’s timeless story of two young people torn apart by a divided society and forbidden love.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have today confirmed full casting for Romeo and Juliet, which opens the 2021 season on Thursday 17 June.
