Crafting songs that reflect the soundtrack of his lifetime, Jakob Nowell has unveiled ‘ENTER: THE CASTLE’ – the debut record from his eclectic solo project, Jakobs Castle. Jakobs Castle represents an unfiltered version of Nowell’s own sonic identity. The album is Jakob’s modern expression of SoCal-born alternative rock. Listen to the album here!

Explore the new playful single 'Supervillain' from Jakob Nowell's debut album, ENTER: THE CASTLE. Co-written by Nowell and Tim Armstrong (Rancid, Op Ivy), “Supervillain” features a playful pop twist on a rocksteady, laid-back groove. Sonically, the new track references Nowell's appreciation for mixing 90s nostalgia and internet subculture.

Created with producer and co-collaborator Jon Joseph (Børns, Caroline Rose), Nowell describes each song on ENTER: THE CASTLE like an experiment. He's not chasing trends or trying to make music that fits into a mold. Jakobs Castle songs are a weird amalgamation of Nowell's favorite, often contrary, things. Plus, check out tour dates!

On the heels of last year's pivotal 10th anniversary of the festival and 20th anniversary of the Levitate brand, Levitate will ring in its 11th year with a very rare and special appearance from the newly reunited Sublime with original members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson, to be fronted by Jakob  Nowell, son of the late founding member Bradley Nowell.

Two shows have been added to the After Hours Concert Series 2022 lineup at The Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia.  Brothers Osborne will perform on Thursday, July 14th, and Incubus with very special guests Sublime With Rome and The Aquadolls will play Saturday, July 30th. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, March 18, 2022, at 10:00 AM. A limited number of Early Bird General Admission tickets will be available for just $26 until March 24 while supplies last.

All four members of the Quartet – Eugene Drucker, Philip Setzer, Lawrence Dutton and Paul Watkins – will continue to perform and teach individually; as a group, they will continue to coach and mentor young ensembles through the Emerson String Quartet Institute at Stony Brook University, along with cellist David Finckel, who was a member of the quartet for 34 years.

The tour starts on October 1st in Tulsa, OK and wraps on October 13th in New Orleans, LA. Tickets go on sale on Friday, August 9th at 12PM local time and will be available for purchase on the band's website HERE.

The Southern California trio have added headline shows in July in Montana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Indiana in between their previously announced Canadian dates with The Offspring. The last of new solo dates is on Friday, July 28at Thunder Valley Casino Amphitheatre near Sacramento.
