Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors have released a reflective new single, “Soul’s A Camera”. Recorded during the Strangers No More album sessions, the new song will be one of the featured tracks on the band’s recently announced Strangers No More Volume II LP – due out September 12th. Woods has shared a first taste from the record, with the single “Rosemary,” along with a video, co-written with Connor Seidel. Co-produced with longtime collaborator James Bunton over much of 2023, the album's delicate nature is reflected in its lyrics. The psychology of people's actions always fascinated Woods and informs much of the record.

Canadian singer/songwriter Alan Doyle announces his 2024 North American Tour and the release of his new single 'Welcome Home.' The tour will kick off on February 21 and will include 44 shows across Canada and the U.S. Indie rock singer-songwriter Adam Baldwin will be Doyle's special guest on all dates. Pre-sales begin this Wednesday.

It started when he wrote hits like “Bring Me To Life” and “My Immortal” for his band Evanescence. Followed by years of hits like “A Thousand Years” (Christina Perri), “Because of You” (Kelly Clarkson), “Dear Hate” (Maren Morris), “See You Again” (Carrie Underwood), “Miss Me More” (Kelsea Ballerini), and “Afterglow” and “2 Step” (Ed Sheeran).

The point of musical theater (for most people) is pure entertainment, and the New Theatre & Restaurant original production of 1981’s DREAMGIRLS hits the bullseye. DREAMGIRLS is directed by Jerry Jay Cranford and stars a comparatively large, twenty-one member cast backed by an eight-piece orchestra.  Cranford has assembled a cast of Broadway belters and fine dancers to tell the tale of a Supremes-like black female singing trio around 1960 and in the decade to follow.   The show is flashy and impeccably costumed.  The set, while relatively simple, is technically superior. LED screens are used across the background to simulate locations.  Not much was spared when the producer was asked to fund this production.  Choreography by Courtney German is frenetic, well drilled, and perfectly appropriate for this genre.  The musical score is spectacular by Henry Krieger and Tom Eyen.   Several numbers (including the title track) became number one hits outside the show.

Montreal-based folk-jazz-pop musician, Loryn Taggart, celebrates her birthday and first solo release since 2020 with brand-new single The Reunion.

Collaborations with Australian songwriter Ziggy Alberts (“THE SUN & THE SEA”) and Natalie Taylor (“Hang On To Me”) followed. Woods spent much of the second half of the year on the road, supporting Matt Nathanson in the U.S., who’s song “Boston Accent” Woods co-wrote. Followed by EU/UK dates with Aoife O’Donovan.

Over twenty new songs were written, and eventually, award-winning producer Derek Hoffman (Arkells, Tim Hicks, Donovan Woods) was brought on board to help record the best of these songs, including lead singles “Save Your Lonely,” “Stronger Than You Know,” and “I Saw Your Ghost,” into what would be House of Dreams.

Produced and largely performed by Lynn and her partner Todd Lombardo (Kacey Musgraves, Donovan Woods, Kathleen Edwards), Something More Than Love was written following the birth of Lynn and Lombardo’s first child during the early months of the pandemic.
