The Beverly Hills Theatre Guild's Julie Harris Playwriting Competition is accepting applications starting January 1st through April 30th. This prestigious competition is in its 47th year and attracts interest from around the world.

The Beverly Hills Theatre Guild is seeking new, unproduced plays for its annual Julie Harris Playwright Award Competition. The international event offers 3 cash prizes of $3,500, $2,500 and $1,500 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

The organization, which is dedicated to recognizing the work and lives of those composers and lyricists who create popular music around the world, holds annual elections to determine those who will make up the roster of inductees for the following year.
