The eight-episode series stars Mamoudou Athie (Dan Turner), Dina Shihabi (Melody Pendras), Martin Donovan (Virgil Davenport), Matt McGorry (Mark Higgins), Julia Chan (Annabelle Cho), Evan Jonigkeit (Samuel), and Ariana Neal (Jess). The series follows archivist Dan Turner, who takes a job restoring a collection of damaged videotapes from 1994.

Lela Loren (“Power”) will play Danica Harlan in Season Two of Altered Carbon. Kept under wraps, Loren already has completed production on her Altered Carbon series regular role.

Last night, the Critics' Choice Awards were announced. Taking home the top prize of Best Picture was Roma. Also, in a surprising turn of events, both Lady Gaga and Glenn Close took home the award for Best Actress, for A Star is Born and The Wife, respectively.
