20 years after watching Roman Polanski's world-premiere production, it was with great trepidation that I entered the Musical Dome in Cologne, to watch DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES again. To my surprise, it was a quick-footed, highly-entertaining show that was a vast improvement over the original Viennese production.

'What is my purpose in life?' is a question asked by many people as they ponder the reasons for their existence. Finding one's raison d'etre could be the ever-elusive challenge, and should you never discover it, you are in good company. It is an existential question that lingers eternally for people who really want to have a life that matters. Now on stage at The Fisher Theatre is the musical PIPPIN, the tale of existential woe.

This morning, May 3, hundreds of aspiring dancers lined up outside Radio City Music Hall awaiting their chance to fulfill their dreams and audition for a spot with The Rockettes in the upcoming 2012 production of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, celebrating 85 years of The Rockettes. This year's production will run from November 9 - December 30, 2012 and tickets are on sale now. See photos of the Rockettes hopefuls below!

Live camels, sheep, and a donkey are a poor substitute for live musicians, but The Rockettes would still be impressive dancing to the sounds of silence.
