Granite Theatre announces the opening of its final production of the 2019 season Charles Dickens 'A Christmas Carol' with Artistic Director David Jepson is appearing as 'Ebenezer Scrooge'.  “Man of La Mancha” is a powerful and timeless story.  Dale Wasserman wrote the Book, Music by Mitch Leigh, with Lyrics by Joe Darion.   The show opens October 18, 2019 and runs thru November 10 at the Granite Theatre.  Producer/Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson. 

“The Hollow” is another thriller in our continuing series of Agatha Christie mysteries.  The show opens September 6, 2019 and runs thru September 29 at the Granite Theatre.  Producer/Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson. 

"On Golden Pond" by Ernest Thompson is opening August 2, 2019 at the Granite Theatre. Often perceived as a serious drama, Artistic Director David Jepson says it is "both comedy and drama that often matches the funniest one liners of any Neil Simon. "On Golden Pond" will be the last opportunity for the audience to see the long time producing and acting team of David and Beth Jepson on stage together before their retirement at the end of this season. The show runs August 2 - 25, 2019

Neil Simon's romantic comedy, "Barefoot in the Park", opening June 28, 2019 at the Granite Theatre.  "Barefoot in the Park" is described as a rib-tickling comedy.  It was nominated for three 1964 Tony Awards and Mike Nichols won the award for Best Director.   Producer/Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson. The show runs June 28 - July 21, 2019

"The Curious Savage, John Patrick's crazy comedy is opening May 31, 2019 at the Granite Theatre.  "The Curious Savage" is a wonderful combination of humor, mystery and heart-warming sentimentality with a good message about trying to live your life to its fullest and not letting dreams go unfulfilled.  Producer/ Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson.  The show runs May 31 - June 16, 2019

"The Game's Afoot" by Ken Ludwig is opening March 22 at the Granite Theatre.

The Granite Theatre of Westerly, announces the opening of the one of America's most beloved musicals "Annie", book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin. BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE, playing at Westerly's Granite Theatre through October 28th, is the perfect choice of a play for this month, when thoughts of Halloween and all things spooky and mystical are in the air.

A Murder is Announced... and a good time is had by all.

"A Murder is Announced" by Leslie Darbon, adapted from Agatha Christie's novel is opening September 7 at the Granite Theatre.   Producer/ Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson.  The show runs September 7 - 30, 2018.

Granite Theatre of Westerly will be holding auditions for a medium-sized, sandy-colored dog to play "Sandy" in our production of "Annie - The Musical". The auditions are Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 1 pm until 3 pm at the theatre, 1 Granite Street, Westerly, RI. David Jepson, Artistic Director for the theatre, will be directing the show. There are 19 performances of the show between November 23 and December 23, 2018.

"The Prisoner of Second Avenue" by Neil Simon is opening August 3 at the Granite Theatre. Producer/ Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson. The show runs August 3 - 26, 2018.

A Comedy of Tenors" by Ken Ludwig is opening June 29 at the Granite Theatre. The show is the sequel to his hilarious comedy "Lend Me A Tenor". Producer/ Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson.

'The Ladies Foursome" by Norm Foster is opening Friday June 1 at the Granite Theatre. The show is the follow-up to the hugely popular Foursome" from 2016. Producer/ Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson. The show runs June 1 - 17, 2018

Fear not, theatre-goers: David Auburn's Proof, presented by the Renaissance City Theatre, Inc. at Westerly's plush Granite Theatre weekends through May 12th, may contain talk of mathematicians and theorems, but to consider this merely a "play about math" would be disingenuous.
