Peninsula Players Theatre has revealed the cast for its first offering of The Play's the Thing, the theater's winter play reading series presented to Door County audiences.

Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater, presents performances of 'Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery' beginning on September 6 for a six-week run at Door County's premiere professional theater. 

Peninsula Players Theatre will present an audio recording of 'Kodachrome,' a tender and funny comedy by Adam Szymkowicz, beginning Monday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. CST. Suzanne, the local photographer in a rural New England town, gives audiences a glimpse into the lives of her neighbors, one romance at a time.

BrightSide Theatre, Naperville's only professional theatre performing in the historic downtown district, opens their 10TH Anniversary Season – BrightSide is BACK –with this family friendly holiday musical - Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Musical Radio Play.

This timeless musical fantasy about the power of love performs July 31 to August 18 and is based on the Academy Award-winning film by Bruce Joel Rubin.

Ghost The Musical opened to a full house on Sunday, September 16 for its Opening Night performance. Linda Fortunato directed and choreographed the production which stars Garrett Lutz in the role of ghostly hero Sam, Donica Lynn as psychic Oda Mae and Courtney Mack in the role of Molly Jensen. This is Chicagoland's first regional production of the newly imagined Ghost The Musical. Performances continue through October 14.

In the seventh presentation of the popular Rep Lab, the short-play festival features the company's Emerging Professional Residents (EPR) in acting, directing and technical theater to showcase their talent. This year, nine one act play along with a devised play written by the Emerging Professionals appeared in the Stiemke Studio for an intriguing evening of theater. Eight actors, seven directors, and four designers comprise the EPR team. In an interesting mix of plays, many examine the angst in relationships: communal, personal and professional within a wide time frame that also embodies considerable emotional range

What could be a better holiday gift to Milwaukee than a World Premiere adaptation of Dickens' beloved A Christmas Carol?
