Chip Duford is a professional actor with regional experience in Michigan primarily. He has spent 27 seasons as a member of the acting company of Hope Summer Repertory Theatre in Holland, MI. In 1995 he was in the original cast of CHAPS! A Cowboy Cabaret by Malcolm Hillgartner and Jahnna Beecham, which features cowboy music from Hollywood. In 1997, he earned his equity card at The Tacoma Actor's Guild, reprising the role in CHAPS that he created a few years earlier. Since then, he's done around half a dozen productions of that show, as well as being in the original casts of some other Hillgartner/Beecham musicals.
Chip has spent a number of Holiday seasons in Rochester, MI as a member of the cast of Christmas Carol at the Meadow Brook Theatre, featured in the role of Mr. Fezziwig. He has performed over 300 times as Vinnie Black, "The Cadillac Of Caters" in the Detroit, MI production of Tony and Tina's Wedding.
A professional actor since 1989, he has performed across the country from Tacoma, WA to Cape Cod, MA, having worked at a number of regional theatres including Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, The Cleveland Playhouse and The Monomoy Theatre.
