Final Season of BROCKMIRE to Premiere on IFC in March

IFC announced today that the fourth and final season of its critically-acclaimed series Brockmire starring Hank Azaria will premiere in March 2020.  Returning for the series' final season are Amanda Peet, Tyrel Jackson Williams and Katie Finneran.  Additionally, Reina Hardesty (The Flash) has joined the series' line-up for the final eight episodes.

(Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director) today announced that actor Charles Browning will take over for Lance Coadie Williams in the world premiere of Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview, which Soho Rep. Artistic Director Sarah Benson directs, and which the downtown Manhattan theater presents in association with Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Williams is unable to continue.The production now runs at Soho Rep. June 2 - July 8, with opening now set for Sunday, June 17.

On June 29, Charles Lloyd & The Marvels will release Vanished Gardens (Blue Note), a transcendent new album that presents the fascinating collaboration between NEA Jazz Master saxophonist and composer Charles Lloyd and acclaimed GRAMMY-winning singer and songwriter Lucinda Williams. Together they weave several threads of American music (Jazz, Blues, Americana, Country, and Rock) into a thrilling and uplifting new musical hybrid. The first single “We've Come Too Far To Turn Around,” a new gospel-informed song written by Williams, is available today to stream or download. The Marvels are Bill Frisell on guitar, Greg Leisz on pedal steel guitar and dobro, Reuben Rogers on bass, and Eric Harland on drums. Vanished Gardens was produced by Lloyd, Dorothy Darr, and Don Was.
Season Two Premiere of IFC's BROCKMIRE Hits it Out of the Park, Beats Season One Premiere and Finale in Key Nielsen Demos

The season two premiere of acclaimed IFC comedy Brockmire, starring Hank Azaria experienced strong growth - eclipsing both the season one premiere and finale in key demos - remarkable growth in this environment. Compared to the 2017 series premiere, the season two premiere grew 15% among adults 25-54 and 11% among adults 18-49 in Nielsen live+3 ratings. And compared to the season one finale of Brockmire, the season two premiere grew 24% among adults 25-54, 13% among adults 18-49 and 7% among total viewers. The season two premiere on Wednesday, April 25 also delivered 506,000 total viewers in Nielsen live+3 ratings.
