Yet, given the oppressive circumstances, the only thing subversive in his intention is to restore a sense of dignity and free will to those he views as the downtrodden -- captives of a rigged system that is oblivious to their best interests.

On September 21, The Sherman Playhouse will open their Fall season with the hilarious Steve Martin's The Underpants The production is directed by Dan Friedman of Bedford, NY and produced by Steve Stott of Brookfield. It features Brianna Bowman of Bethel, Timothy Huber of Danbury, Michael Schaner of Sherman, Michele Leigh of Brookfield, Jeff Rossman New Fairfield, Joe Manuele of Carmel, NY and Chris Marker of Sherman.

The Sherman Playhouse announces their cast for Steve Martin's The Underpants which opens September 21. The production is being directed by Dan Friedman of Carmel, NY. This will be Dan's first venture on the Playhouse boards.

The Sherman Playhouse opens their 2018 season with William Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew on April 20 and closes May 12.  

Town Players is pleased to present the comedy OFF OFF OFF BROADWAY by Connecticut playwright Shelley Abrams. The fun begins on Friday, September 15.
