Andrea Dotto (Bandstand, Chita Rivera Award Nominee) is back at the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theater in the multi-faceted ensemble of A Grand Night For Singing, directed and choreographed by Sam Hay with music direction by Broadway's Joshua Zecher-Ross.

The producers for Rescue Rue at DR2 Theatre have announced the show will return after a holiday hiatus. Originally scheduled to conclude performances on January 16, 2022, the show will now pause performances until the New Year, and the run will be extended to Sunday, January 30, 2022 with performances on a new varying schedule.

Tony nominee Caitlin Kinnunen (B'way: The Prom) joins a cast of seven, including Alex Burnette (Off-B'way: Olivier Py’s The Young Girl), Leanne Brunn (Nat. Tour: ImaginOcean), and more.

After their theater jobs were cancelled due to the industry shutdown, husband and wife team Dotto & Malafronte moved upstate to quarantine with family. From there, a labor of love was formed.

Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the July 31 opening of Neil Simon's comedy Laughter on the 23rd Floor at Saint Michael's Playhouse in Colchester, Vermont. Laughter on the 23rd Floor is directed by Catherine Doherty who has directed numerous SMP productions including You Can't Take It With You, See How They Run, The 39 Steps.

According to the Washington Post, the national touring cast of ANNIE got heckled this week at DC's National Theatre. The heckler attended the show Tuesday night, and is said to have yelled, 'That was terrible!' from his seat, following the number 'We'd Like to Thank You Herbert Hoover.' There were no reported reactions from the cast or the other audience members during the incident.
