Naomi Grossman's AMERICAN WHORE STORY Opens June 1 At Skylight Theatre
Emmy-nominated actress Naomi Grossman, best known as fan-favorite 'Pepper,' the first multi-season crossover character from Ryan Murphy's hit television series American Horror Story, presents a raucous, irreverent love letter to AHS fans and the dubious art of self-compromise in this limited theatrical run of her new solo show, American Whore Story.

More than 400 guests joined Olympians and stars of stage and screen to show their support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students at the annual Point Honors gala the landmark New York Public Library last night. The evening celebrated the accomplishments of Point Foundation's (Point), higher education scholarship recipients. More than $500,000 was raised for Point, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit.

On Sunday, May 19, at The Globe Theatre, 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA, the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles (www.gmcla.org), whose mission is to change hearts and minds through the power of music, presented the 2013 Voice Awards. This year the organization honored American Idol, AT&T, activists Fred Arens and Jason Duguay, and writer/director Liesel Reinhart.
