Summer at Lincoln Center is a time-honored New York tradition, bringing people from all walks of life together to experience a multitude of music, dance, and drama across the entire campus.

Today, Lincoln Center announced the 30th season of Midsummer Night Swing, celebrating the rich diversity of New York City with a wide range of sounds and dance styles from Tuesday, June 25, to Saturday, July 13, 2019. Fifteen nights of outdoor dance lessons and performances under the stars-covering genres like swing, rhythm & blues, ballroom, tango, salsa, and forro-bring to life the timeless magic of summer in the city.

Music's Biggest Night - the GRAMMYs - is here! Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. 

Multiple Grammy nominee Maria Muldaur will release her 41stalbum, and her first studio album in 6 years on September 28th. “DON'T YOU FEEL MY LEG—The Naughty Bawdy Blues of Blue Lu Barker” is her first for the London-based Last Music Company.

On Sunday June 30 I went to Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal to see Polly Seale do her one woman show, Cougar Mama!, The Sensual Evolution Revolution. Before I get to Ms. Seale, I would like to say that I 'discovered' a new appetizer (or side) to their tasty hamburgers, and that treat is the grilled brussel sprouts, with bacon, feta, and lots of other spices... a delightful taste treat that I never had before. And now for another taste treat!
