It is time for the Hotsy Totsy Star Wars Holiday Special tribute!  We have been doing so for 11 years, each time with a brand new script, but with the same odd and troubling clips.

What did our critic think of THE CRUCIBLE at Eisenhower Theater? Choreographer Helen Pickett does in her ballet The Crucible just exactly what Arthur Miller attempted in his 1953 play, her source. Both try to make a new language to express the Salem witch trials of 1692 because those events were too extraordinary for regular English or garden-variety ballet.

Today’s subject Peter Salem is currently living his theatre life as the composer of Scottish Ballet’s production of The Crucible. The show runs now through May 28th at Kennedy Center in the Eisenhower Theater.

Initially published as a performance poetry collection, Love The Sinner will be transformed, in a collaboration between Imogen Stirling and Vanishing Point, into a pulsating full-scale theatre show: a fusion of performance poetry, visual theatre and electronic music.

WOTC LLC (the owner of the Dungeons and Dragons brand) has reached out to Cherry Pitz and the Girls from the Home for Wayward Girls and Fallen Women to help them with a viral marketing campaign on a new edition they have labeled 6X, it is so advanced and lifelike that the characters actually show up where you are playing. And where handsome Brad has his qualms about this, Cherry only has one question,  can we get them on stage to do burlesque acts!

Following today's Scottish Government announcement that there will be no further extension to current event restrictions, Scottish Ballet will be completing their tour of The Nutcracker to Inverness (Eden Court 26-29 Jan), after the Glasgow and Aberdeen runs were cancelled.

Hotsy Totsy has brought back their friend Kermit The Frog (Andy Ross) as a special co-host for this month's show. But Kermit has ideas of his own, he has visions of bringing Hotsy Totsy to the bigtime but to make that happen he envisions some changes. So, he has re-booked the show, brought in New York Drag Queen Legend Witti Repartee as our guest star and left Cherry Pitz and Handsome Brad to wonder what is going on and whose show is this anyway.

This year, George Lucas joins us (played by guest star Andy Ross). He claims he is there because, as he has often said, 'If I had the time and a sledgehammer, I would track down every copy of that show and smash it.' But for someone who hates it so much, he seems to revel in singing all the songs! Could it be that he secretly loves the show as much as Cherry does?
